Glen Cowie Pedigrees
The Glen Cowie name has been used by the Colville family, by both Iain’s father and grandfather when farming. Following tradition, the Glen Cowie Angus herd was birthed in 2014 when we started purchasing our foundation cattle in Sterling and Carlisle AA Cattle Society sales, with cows coming from Blelack, Ducanzimere, Ardoyne, Arms, Belhaven, Cheeklaw and Old Glenort herds.
In 2017 the Taugh Blane herd was purchased to develop our strong genetic base of powerful cows with great presence and conformation. We have had great pleasure in showing our pedigree stock at RUAS, Balmoral and Royal Highland Show since the beginning.
