International Women’s Day

This year the theme for International Women’s Day is ACCELERATE CHANGE. What does that look like in practise? For me, it reminds me of women who have empowered me to bring change or women I have mentored and developed to bring change or the women that have walked alongside me to bring change.

On our journey at Glenside Farm we are always looking for accelerated change. This requires vision, a pioneering spirit, energy and skills you never knew you had. Glenside Farm is a welcoming space for health and wellbeing through farming, nature and community.

We have had the privilege of seeing women play an active role in shaping the social enterprise through volunteering skills and time, being part of the staff team, bring governance as a Director and of course all the wonderful participants who have visited and brought a sense of community to the farm.

Today we want to celebrate each and everyone and say thank you for the change you bring at Glenside Farm. Let’s keep dreaming, planning and making a difference in our community.
