Egg-tastic

The showers came and the wind blew but this did not deter the enthusiasm of children and parents/carers on their visit to Glenside Farm on Sunday afternoon. Starfish Soul Care who’s vision is to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support, rest and nurture for foster and adoptive families used the space to engage children and teenagers in farm related crafts, singing and story telling in the barn, which later this year will be used for lambing! The mums and carers had space to breathe, reflect, connect and be creative. The afternoon included light tea in the barn and a farm tour with every child receiving a fresh laid egg from the hen house and a walk across the fields with the sheep and lambs bleating.

Many hands make light work….
